Hey guys, spent the best part of the last 3 days reading everything I can to find myself the best closed back headphones for gaming. Looking for something well balanced for competitive as well as regular immersive gameplay.


They would be used for movies and music too. But mainly gaming focused. 



I am really struggling with what purchase to make and after looking at one pair too much, seem to be psyching myself out and starting over again! lol



Any recommendations? Seen many good things on; Beyerdynamics DT250, DT770 Pro, AKG K550 Mk2, Shure SRH940, Sennheiser HD 569



Or a completely different pair?

Depends on price the best I have seen are the Ether C's for $1500 . 
 
are best cheaper option is the 770 
 
Check out Mad envys gaming guide as that has a lot of good reviews

Spent the last 3 days on that thread lol, not a lot of high end closed back reviews and what's there not readily available in the uk. 
 
Think i'll get the 770's though, with FiiO - E10K Olympus DAC/Amp. Must be better than my run of the mill "gaming" headsets! lol

Yeah the 770 it's a solid choice. Might take a look at the T50rp Mk3 if you could consider semi-open and if you have a source with enough juice to power them.
