I had for 3 times the EAR HP-4 amplifier and I have used A LOT of headphones on it (R10, W2002, HD650, Beyer DT880, Grado PS1, RS1, HP-2 and many others...).

Now for the first time I'm listening the amp with the AKG K340, oh... guys, this is a tremendous setup

, I can't believe to my ears (or to my EAR

).

I think that the K340 is the best partner for the EAR HP-4

(high output/Sylvania and GE 6sl7).

I dont' know because I can't know the future, may be tomorrow a new cans will be built by Stax or Senn or Beyer or Denon or AKG... who know ???
