Well,recently I bought the M-Audio 2496 audiocard for recording and listening purposes.Sounds good,it's very detailed and neutral.I like it very much,but It's kinda wierd though,because it's released in 2001.That makes 10 years.I mean,that's an era in computer world.It's almost like vintage equipment.I'm not about to think of am I go wrong or something,it doesn't matter anyway- it was 70$ brand new.I'm just wondering how exactly pc audio interfaces evolve.
My real question-is it there an equal interface for my laptop(read USB) below 100$ ?
