This is a great newish album that is on its way to become one of my favorites from this year. It reminds me at different times of a quieter Arcade Fire or louder Sufjan Stevens. Really great and I recommend it to anyone who is at all into newer indie/rock offerings.

I'll just chime in and say that this band is definitely amazing, one of my favorites even. Burst Apart is their first album together as an actual band. Where as Hospice was front man Peter Silberman's lyrics stylings. It's really quite fascinating to see where they took the direction of the music in their new album. It's a much different sound but still wholy "The Antlers" and still very enjoyable. I saw them live when they were in DC and they sounded even better than on the album.

I had the opposite experience -- liked Hospice, couldn't really get into Burst Apart. I guess without the central theme they just sounded a little commonplace to me...
