I hooked up the HE-1000 to my Hugo Chord at CanJam earlier today. Simply Wow!!!!!! I loved them so much, I listened to them three separate times. Even hooked up to an iPod touch , listening to a broad range of recorded music, ranging from 256 k to lossless, it sounded unbelievable. I will definitely be buying these headphones when they release. What an unbelievable combo! The chord ran these headphones without any issue.

Good to hear. What do you think is a better upgrade? Chord Hugo + HD800 + dedicated amp or Chord Hugo + HE-1000? I'm still using the Sennheiser HD-800 on the Chord hugo.

I would recommend the Hugo + HE1000 combo. This to me is truly a portable dream team. I went back to Can Jam today ans spent some time listening to the HE1000's paired with my Hugo. I was smailing ear to ear. I can only imagine how these headphones will sound like paired to the bigger brother to the Chord.

Or I'm just working in Customer Service for a Television company that happens to be the most expensive, and all jokes aside, if something is worth the money then it's worth the money.
