Hi, everyone.

I got Wadia 170i.

I was satisfied to this transport except the non-existence of supports to pins.

Compare to my other wadia(15 & 20), it seems to be not so good.

Additionally, the radius of pillars in 170i are not same to my existing facilities.

Isn't there good solution?

To superiority of 170i user, give me a fovor, please.

You know, there are no metal plates different from other wadia player.
So I tried to subsitute plates of 15 to the underpinning of 170i.
But the size did not agree.
So is there good solution?
Sincerely,

Is it really necessary for you that there be four metal supports (as in your other Wadia pieces) instead of the cones that are there? (I hope I understand you correctly that this is what you want). Is it for better sound or so it will look like the other wadia pieces?

Compared to other Wadia equipment, the ipod transport is really cheap. I understand that they had to keep the cost down according to an agreement with Apple. So the footers and some other parts are cheaper than the parts used on other Wadia equipment.

If I understand your request correctly, you will have to search for metal footers that match, at least to some degree, the Wadia footers on your other pieces. It will be trial and error. Maybe if you wrote to the Wadia people.......

Good Luck.

Yap, It seems to be not necessary.
But, I had better to fit the balance between 170i and other Wadia.
Then, I' ll try to order the underpinnings to Wadia Company, whether it can be OK or not.

Cheers!
