Does anyone own a pair of these or know anything about them?

They look like the E4c in black to me.

are they better or worse for music?

I own a set and the only difference is a different cable length (think it's 2 inches less than the e4c) and the color.

I heard its for games, which means it should be worst for music.

no its exactly the same driver. the reason its called gaming edition is because its meant for PSP and game boy. the longer cord is a bit unmanegeable at longer lengths, so they shortened it + the big plug of the e4/e4c wouldn't fit in these types of gaming devices, so they made it a bit smaller. otherwise, they sound identical. sugarfried who works at shure has confirmed this several times on this forum.

Wow thanx guys. I now know enough that I should swap my e4c's for e4g's.

I want to put together e4g's, hornet amp, sony hd-5, and 1100kbps hi-res mp3's and see what it sounds like *drool*.
