To date, for me its the following:

The JMLab Grand Utopia's have always intrigued me. From their 462 pound weight, to standing 5'9" tall, to their $80,000 plus/minus price tag. I'll never own a pair unless I hit the lottery, but just for their sheer size and the "coolness" of owning a pair of speakers more expensive than most cars, I would love them even if they weren't an acoustical fit in my listening environment.

Wow, I was just listening to that CD player not 20 minutes ago at my local audiophile shop. It was on consignment for $3500CAN. Quite a bargain methinks.
