I've seen reviewers that say "don't change the pads on these!" but I really want to. The way they pin my ears back gets uncomfortable after about 20mins, and by an hour I'm desperately looking to listen to something else. 
 
So I'm wondering has anyone swapped the stock pads out for Lawton angled pads, and what's your experience with that?

Update. I found a thread where someone put on some 1540 pads. I have some extra 1540 pads, so I put them on. Wow. Night and day comfort difference. Also super easy upgrade.

I've got Lawton pads on mine and I love them. Nice sound difference, and comfort is much improved to my ears YMMV
