I'm currently listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan's Texas Flood album on SACD and I must say that this is definitely one release that strongly exhibits the advantages of SACD.
The guitar work is so incrediably sharp and the vocals have such a sense of space that with eyes closed one can easily fall into the music thinking Stevie was right there. The bass is also much more out front compared to the redbook release that I have. All of this combined with very defined separation makes for a wonderful listening experience.
Great release and some great blues. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
