years ago i stored some honduras mahogany that was cut into blocks for resawing into acoustic guitar back and side sets at my brothers house. he let his 4 year old son practice hammering nails into it.

do what they did in that ingenious 3M double-sided tape commercial with the ants and the sandwich. Place your grados on a steel or glass table, and surround it with a moat of double sided tape. When you wake up, all the termites will be stuck on the tape.
