warm?
dark?
bright?
what does it all mean?
is there an FAQ somewhere, or is it just knowledge one picks up along the way?

uh oh ! the FAQ monster thingy rears its ugly head again

Far as I know one is being contemplated but there is no definitive agreement on the content of the faq so..............?

We shall see.

Warm : lower midrange bump in the response , not so much as to be "bloated"

Dark : a slightly recessed top end

Bright : rising top end ,adds a sheen to cymbals and such

I knew someone here would have it more handy than I. Thanks Wal. I shall bookmark it this time for handy reference in the future.

Its been very quiet on that front...

Either, i've had a lucky escape, from the amount of work that it'd have entailed... else, everyone is waiting for me to do something...

Not quite sure which... but, i'm hoping its the former, rather than the latter - now i'm back at work anyway... would've been fine during the Xmas break... but now

But... if it goes ahead, i'll see what I can do

rick,

That reminds me of the "Gov" scene in Blazing Saddles where there's a meeting in the governour's office. "Work, work, work..."

lol Rickster...

Didn't need to bite THAT hard though...

Just a little nibble would be good enough!!

Anyway... Where is everyone that wanted the FAQ in the first place??

The Encyclopaedia Headphonica?
That would be cool... But I'm sure you'd get people refuting what you'd put down the moment it's published

Now that I've done everything I can do for a project ending on Monday, I'm not that busy for the next couple of months, general low-level stuff, so if you need a hand let me know.
