I have a Peachtree Nova, and I'm looking to take a step up from my Epos ELS3 bookshelves. I found a pair of PSB Image T6's locally for a great price,  and from what I can tell they're easy to drive. Can someone who is knowledgable in wattage, impedance, sensitivity, amplification, etc. tell me if this combo would work well? Much appreciated, thanks!

Hmmm ... I see the problem, Every one of these Google hits appears to have been generated by YOU. There are others, but I lost feeling in my fingers after copying and pasting so many links, Basically, you've come to Head-Fi as a last resort, despite having been given reasonable advice in some of these threads.

Two or three forums - fine - five or six, considerably less so. Have you ever gone looking for info on a given combination and found the same thread repeated, sometimes linked to as a 'review' (!) ? It sucks majorly, and I see it as the equivlanent of  'thread-crapping the Net',  The OP was given advice by others, but now seems to want a technical dissertation to support his purchase, Comes a time when we all have to man up and make a decision - we've all been there, and there are no guarantees short of an audition. Simple. 
 
BTW, do you have any actual advice for the OP ? Mine is obvious - 'just do it'.

First, headfi is almost always my first source for help or information. However, I hadn't ventured outside the headphone area much here, so I tried those forums first. Secondly, I hardly got any sort of comprehensive info on any of those other forums, and in fact got some conflicting advice. Third, it can't hurt to ask around, seeing as someone at any given place may have relevant or first-hand advice on the equipment in question. And finally, no, I'm not asking for a "technical dissertation" on this. I've read about impedance and sensitivity, and still don't quite have a grasp as to how it works in reality, specifically with the components in question.  
 
I appreciate your opinion, though. I already own the Nova and I'm not looking to change that right now. It seems as though down the line I could add an amp into the chain and use the Nova as a preamp for a better system, but right now I'm focusing on speakers because I have the opportunity for local pickup, with no tax, on what seem to be a pretty well-liked pair of speakers. The real question I was trying to get an answer to was whether or not this is a mismatch of components.
 
I will be going to check the speakers out Saturday, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to bring my Nova to test, which is part of why I asked around.

A 80 watt amp is plenty of power for those speakers.
It should have no problem driving them.
 
Just make sure you like the sound of the speakers.
 
If you at all think the amp might not be a good match try to take the amp with you and hook them up to the speakers for a test drive listen.

My advice to OP is to keep getting information from as many sources as he sees fit and then making an informed decision.
