I was having a quick trawl around ebay seeing if there was a T39 on there (going cheap) as now and then I hear really good things about this buggy little player.

What's the general consensus on the Teclast players though? e.g the T50

what's wrong with your clix2?

I read review that other players like T50, M33 's SQ is medicore.
Both players aim for video playback.

The Clix2 is the best player I've heard so far my friend. I was just looking at maybe purchasing a T39 or a D2 aswell. They can't be any worse than my last buy - that dire Sony A818. I'm deciding between a set of Westone 3's or a new source for xmas.

so the T39 seems to be the best of the Teclast bunch?

No, it's just the sound quaity/drive out of it is dire.
Out of the kit that's available for me to test in my house it would come bottom. I'd put the g/f's ipod shuffle and my Zune 30 above it. It doesn't sound half the player that the Clix is, even with no EQ and everything on flat.
I've bought a D2 so I'm expecting it to get pushed further down the list.

It's probably my worst audio buy ever next to the er6i.

I might have to start using it as a bookmark lol

What's wrong with the SQ? It has very weak output and hiss, but actual SQ I imagine can't be so bad when there are so many favorable reviews of it and other Sony DAPs.
