[COLOR=000000]Is this the future? Bluetooth
planar magnetic with built-in audiophile amp?

For many consumers looking for a wireless portable, yes. For many on these forums looking for a great-sounding portable, probably not. I remember trying on a Blue Designs Lola on display once...and felt that it was clamping my head in a least 3 different spots, which became worse over time.

If you love hearing music and enjoy having your head in a tech-savvy vise...then I can see the innovation in that. :cool:

Thank you. Do you have any suggestions on other headphone that have this technology? (Bluetooth,
planar magnetic with built-in audiophile amp)

Not with all of that at once, but there are products that are more proven reliable or, at least, satisfactory. For wireless, go here:

https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cancelling-Bluetooth-Headphone-MDR1000X/dp/B01KHZ4ZYY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486843216&sr=8-1&keywords=mdr-1000x

For portable planar-magnetic, go here:

https://mrspeakers.com/aeon/

Those with a built-in amp or DAC/amp have proven to not be as popular, as many would probably wish to upgrade the DAC (Digital-to-Audio Converter) or amp with a stand-alone device, like this product has proven in recent years:

https://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR1ADAC-Premium-Amplifier-Integrated-Headphones/dp/B00O2CYHU6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1486843501&sr=1-1&keywords=mdr-1adac

So even if the new Blue Ella is proven to be reliable, based on my testing with the Blue Lola, the frame will start to clamp in many directions much more over time, which is something that many do not like. At least for me, even if the Lola sounds good, the comfort alone detracts me from even liking it.
