Hello :)

Been a while since I posted here, but I keep checking regularly for updates!

Recently, I decided to revive this old Technics SL-DD2 with a Stanton cartdridge. I hooked it up to our old Technics amp (the model escapes me at the moment) but it still sound as good as I remember it 20 years back... Been buying a few vinyls, one of the latest being Subheim's gorgeous "No Land Called Home"... I missed the intimacy of a turntable ; take care of the vinyls, etc...

Anyway, I have 2 small issues with it... The first, this is a direct drive model, and while it still works great at 33rpm... At 45rpm it "wobbles", meaning, the speed varies from slow to fast, not all the time but most of it... I'm wondering if there's anything I can do myself to fix this?

The second this is not much of an issue but mostly something I am curious about...  Would a new cartridge do any difference, and if yes, what should I consider getting?

Thanks :)
