how good is the soundquality of the technics dj headphone series,

they look stylish enough for use as portable cans.

if they are no good then i'm sticking to my 7506

Dunno about the Technics, but I have the AudioTechnica ATH-Pro700 and they are NICE! They are kind of small so if you have big ears you might find them a bad fit. Sound is extremely clean and balanced. Bass is tight and goes low, but isn't exaggerated like Sony V700's. Sounds good on my Ecler Nuo4 Mixer and iPod. Check it on AudioCubes...comes in a Camo version too.

Technics is the same company as Panasonic. My local Rat Shack sells the RP-DH 1200; I got the manager to pull out an open test set for me to play with. Build quality and comfort were decent. In terms of sound quality, they sounded exactly like a slightly bass-heavier version of the Bose Triports on of my friends has. I didn't particularly care for it, and at the price Rat Shack was asking for it ($170) I definitely wouldn't pick it up

Just my 2 cents
