Hi forum,
I've been having some technical issues with my Little Dot Mk9. There is an intermittent (but increasingly constant) noise that is independent of the volume setting of the device. Sometimes it gets really quite loud, and sometimes it is barely audible. Sometimes it disappears completely for a minute or so.
I'm completely ignorant when it comes to technical matters, so I would appreciate if anyone could point me to possible reasons for this problem. Obviously, I only want to send the amp back to China (or give it to a specialist for repair) if it's really necessary. So if this is just a problem of one of the tubes having to be replaced, then I would be able to "fix" it myself.
I made a recording of the noise by holding a Zoom H4n close to one side of the headphones (but the noise appears equally on both sides) - the recording can be found here: http://corpora.lancs.ac.uk/trier/STE-026.mp3
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sebastian
