Balanced PHA-3 would have a wider stage, but the P90 would still compete on depth.

That's good. But PHA-3's short battery life and non-charging while playing feature make me really hard to decide. (Japanese model can do it but need to use a different USB port and perhaps an additional battery pack)
I'm still leaning toward P90SD because of Teac trademark reference sound and battery charging ability, additional SD card.

kawaivpc1, be aware that P90 needs certain headphones, IEM in order to get a right synergy. It's not pairing with Kaiser 10, Earsonic SM3, Etymotic Er-4S: soundstage tall & wide, deepness - none, all in your head

Well everything internally is known abut the PHA-3, while Centrance doesn't provide any info on the specs or components, not even mentioning which dac is used. While Sony PHA-3 we can already see it is built to perfection: ES9018, XMOS, LME49860, OPA2604, TPA6120, Sanyo OS-CON, Dual Crystal Clock 44.1/48, ThinFilm audio capacitors, TI LDO Array.
