How are you. I am new to the forum and also an apprentice at the issue of hifi music. Have momentum 2.0, Fidelio x1 and recently bought a AKG Q701. I am using a fiio e11 akg k but is not enough. I live in Argentina and I have many choices. Teac ha p50 has the Q701 can move efficiently? thanks.

I have the ha-p50 and like it but am just now comparing it to a desktop amp. What is your source?

My main player is a galaxy s6 edge. Also a mini ipad 2. And most of the reproductions I use play music. Sorry for my english.

I only have experience with the TECH device so can not comment, but the HA-P50 does have more power and I think is higher quality that the fiio e11.

I think the HA-P50 would be better but it would not be the end all for amps.  It can plug into your ipad with a single cable to direct digital transfer from your ipad to the HA_P50.  You should also try the HP with your S6 and your Ipad to see how it sounds.  I think the sound quality from those devices may rival the Fiio e11 but not sure since I have not heard the e11.   For me the HA-P50 was an upgrade from my Iphone 6 but again, not an end all for amps.

Thanks for the reply. Another option I'm seeing is that of a Bravo Ocean. You know if you make a good match with the Q701?

And I have been the TEAC p50. Really they do an excellent job with the Q701. They have a great warmth which makes them ideal for AKG. Everything sounds with more body. I think it is an excellent amplifier for Q701. Regards.

Glad you like it.  I think it is an under appreciated DAC/AMP give it quality in build, sound and number of inputs.
