How to make a perfect cup of green tea each time every time?
 
1-Wash the green tea with cold water for 30 second under running water tap
2-Using boiling water and brew the tea for no more than 30 seconds
3-Serve it after 5 minutes, any longer the tea will become bitter. 
 
Heavy tea drinker here...
 

Note: the tea leafs were removed after 5 minutes, the candle is to keep the tea warm not to assist on the fusion.

My order from simply-tea.com arrived today.  Looks like the packages of tea are packed and sealed to order in silver resealable bags from bulk with a simple label with description and brewing instructions.  Too late in the day to open up one of the packages to brew tea for me, but I'll probably start with the sample of silver needles included in the package at no charge tomorrow morning.  Based on the type of tea leaf in the clear sample of silver needles, the quality looks pretty good, with mostly whole undamaged buds with plenty of silver hairs as expected from this type of tea.  
 
This will take a while to get through over a pound of tea (9 x 2oz packages).

I have not tried many white teas. I will have to give a few of them a try.  Good luck getting through all those 2ozers. Its tough but I know you can do it. ^_~

Well after 15 years or so of drinking PG tips and earl grey (until twinings changed the recipe and ruined it) this thread has inspired me to try something new.

Ordered a bunch of samples for fairly cheaply from a UK tea company. Let's hope they are good!


Also, nice websites KCx, I really like the Hagi stuff on artisticnippon.

i drink sencha, shincha and sometimes macha Japanese green tea from mountfuji.co.uk who have their own tea farm in japan. 
 
the tea quality is the best i've had, not found anything else like it and i've drank green tea for about 10 years. they also sell cups, pots etc.

Just had a chance tonight to try a couple. The Golden Fleece was amazing. Not sure if it was worth it.... bah it was ^_^. Also the Laoshan black. Wish I had more time to have more infusions, but I have class early and cant drink to much. Will give it more of a try tomorrow. Looking forward to the later steeps of the Golden ^_^.
