Guys, I do wonder, if the TDA 7269A amplifiers has some pin-compatible replacements that offer higher quality.

I hear the LM3886 or LM3775 are far superior, but can be, for example the LM3886 schematic made compatible with TDA 7269A with no major changes?

BUT:

Their pins are not compatible at all

Also I think it would be wise to check on these amps possible replacements:
TDA 7296
TDA 7360

Any suggestions?

It would take quite a lot of changing to make the lm3875 compatible. as the TDA7296 is a dual device (amplifies two channels) and the LM3886 is a single channel device.

First things first, if you're modding your amp and havent done so already, I'd replace the power supply smoothing caps with better ones.

True, working on that, yet caps did not made it to me yet, so...

And you re probably right, I'm stuck with the TDA chips.

TDA 7360 datasheet says there should be a 100nF caps on the voltage inputs

Also the TDA 7296 says so... but look at the schematics! Or on the PCB! Nothing like that is ever found there, much less near the IO's!

The TDA 7360 datasheet suggest the capacitor size connected to the SVR pin 7 to be 100uF (C3 in the datasheet, C11 in the Genius diagram) - and warn about longer delay if bigger cap is used - they use 470uF cap and the CENTER reaction definitively LAG after the rest of the circuit - I used 120uF Panny FM and the reaction is kinda fast

And I fixed the voltage oscilation by using 1000uF Panny FM cap on the voltage legs better that it was on the pin 7 anyway, so, the design was once again proven to suxx bad

So I keep adding caps ATM. 2x 330uF 35V on the TDA 7296, 1x 1000uF 16V Panny FM on the TDA 7360 and 2x 470uF 25V for each TDA 7269A...
