Looking to start my first real home stereo build...found these nearby on CL, asking you guys what you think.  It will be audio only system, mostly vinyl. 
 
Can someone tell me a bit more about how these speakers would fit into that system and if its a good value?

I've never listened to a Tannoy speaker, so i can't comment on their sound, but I've heard the name and seem to recall they have (or had?) a good reputation.
 
A cursory search turns up pairs for sale mainly in the UK. Looks like they go for anywhere between $60 - $90 for a pair. If it were up to me, I'd try to snag them at $60.
