Just got this beauty in.

I went for the gold ones to compliment my silver Heart Mirrors. They are a bit more gaudy than the silver ones but so are my HANA 2021s

I'll post some updates after I've had some time with them. Let's see if it indeed is a better Heart mirror or just an equal that is slightly cheaper.

gotted a Ze Tian Wu.
For me THEY a the same level as MuseHifi Power bcz does have a same sound signature(soft sound) without bright on upper muds.
Musically, comfort with good details. Virtual scene ordinary. Shell fits in my ears very good - not so big as MuseHifi Power but have a the same style.

Can`t tell that a "Ze Tian Wu the best 14.x planar" but tunning really good !

Initial impressions of TANGZU XUAN NV

As we are now acquainted with dual dynamic driver sets for the past few years, we are aware of some of its strengths and weaknesses. There are very few exceptional dual dynamic driver IEMS that I really impressed like the reminiscing analogue-ish tuning of the 7HZ Legato and CCA's well-tuned Duo that until now it remains one of my gold standard in terms of a well-balanced sound profile.

This is XUAN NV, TANGZU's latest entry-level product in collaboration with HBB. As I mentioned about the dual dynamic driver technology a while ago, this product also has this type of driver configuration. The dual drivers are encased in a 3D-printed acrylic resin shell with an acoustic tube for each driver.

On power scalability, this set is somehow easy to amplify but putting it with sources with a better power output will unleash its full potential to sound more dynamic.

As for tonal aspect, XUAN NV has a U-shaped sound signature with a balanced-warmish tonality that surprisingly doesn't align with usual HBB-collab sets on budget to entry-level segment. Bass response on this is quite incisive and precise , probably the cleanest bass response among the HBB-approved IEMs on the entry-level. Midrange is well-textured and has a good warmth for most male vocals and contraltos and mezzo-sopranos on female vocals to have an ample lushness, richness and smooth sound. Definitely, if you want a more crisp, energetic and glistening sound, this set will not give you those characteristics as its treble response is rather too smooth and even that treble heads will yearn more bright and shimmer.

On the technical side, this set performs quite average in my opinion on how it projects its sound/speaker stage, typical two-dimensional stereo imaging but it has a rather good separation and layering for a dual DD set. It is quite more resolving in terms of macro-dynamics and micro-detailing appears to be less sharper on extracting nuances and details.

Check out my full review of this set later on.

A initial impression and unboxing of the Xuan Nv.

In short, I surprisingly like it. Pleasant sound with good clarity with no sibilance, definitely one of the best in the sub 100 I tried so fast.

Ordered the Xuan Nv on Amazon. It was a nightmare and it was supposed to be a gift for a friend! First shipment included this peeling and flaking garbage:

Returned. Replacement is better but one side still has hairline cracks all through the resin shell:

I wrote Linsoul this time and asked for a free replacement because I shouldn’t have to keep returning this… I was told to return to Amazon and that they could DHL me a copy faster because by this point the Amazon warehouse was out of stock but more on the way. I need these by June 8 because I leave on a trip and need them by then. Well I place my THIRD Amazon order and send Linsoul the order number so they can ship out my replacement faster and they send me this irritating email:

Thanks a lot. Now it’s questionable if I’ll get these in time for my trip and they just think I’m ok with endless returns. Not nearly the level of customer service as like Aiwa when they sent me a free pair of Prodigy Air 2 when I reported the mic didn’t work. Wow.

TANGZU WAN'ER S.G. Studio Edition initial impression.

20240723_034937.jpg

As I have tested their first dual dynamic driver IEM a few weeks ago. TANGZU decided to release a latest product line-up for their entry-level budget segment.

This is WAN'ER S.G. Studio Edition and it is a re-tuned variant of the highly popular set in 2022, the WAN'ER S.G. with some slight improvements in some physical features and cosmetic look. TANGZU claims that it uses a newly improved 10mm PET diaphragm dual chambered, dual arrayed neodymium magnet dynamic driver encapsulated in a polycarbonate plastic shell chassis.

20240723_035019.jpg20240723_035123.jpg

WAN'ER S.G. Studio Edition is quite sensitive as it can be driven with sources with just a regular normal gain power output that the majority of multimedia devices with analogue connectivity usually have to those ratings.

The QDC-style 2-pin connector of this set is slightly changed as it doesn't have a transparent one but rather a coarse and more solid PC jacket around its bi-pin connector and it seems that its stock cable it's a bit thicker.

While the regular WAN'ER S.G. has a warmer, fun and coloured tuning, this one takes a different target curve which is mild-shaped sound profile as it has more tighter and precise bass response, a neutral, a tad leaner and noticeable less warmer sounding and a boosted upper-mids and presence treble for better clarity and definition with satisfying air extension and shimmering on the brilliance section of the treble region.

20240723_035206.jpg

Compared to the regular WAN'ER S.G. It has wider sound/speaker stage dimensions, accurate stereo imaging and more resolving in micro-dynamics as it has a sharper definition on extracting micro-details and some nuances.

Many will ask if this is an upgrade over its predecessor. Absolutely not as it caters towards some specific audio enthusiasts who are adherent to a more neutral sound signature with high fidelity tuning, different strokes for different folks after all.

Check out my full review within a week or two.
