Try Goblins Club, which I think is the best of Froese-Father-and-Son period Tangerine Dream. The music is more tuneful and less rambling than many of their albums in this period (and later), and the sound is positively astounding.

Indeed! I need to load that up! I have it on CD.

I will tell you a fantastic soundtrack they did to an incredible movie: "Sorcerer". Simply awesome! Of course; they have done lots of soundtracks, but this one certainly stands out among their best. If I'm not mistaken; I think it was the first soundtrack they ever did,
