I have a set of Momentum 1.0's that I'm sending back due to comfort issues. I wear these all day long at work, so comfort is a huge factor for me. I have smaller ears, so I thought I'd get away with small ear cups everyone has complained about. The cups do fit around my ears, but their depth is an issue. My ears lightly touch the drivers and end up causing discomfort after a few minutes. These seem like a pretty comfortable headphone if I could just fix this issue.
So my plan is to return this and then make the jump for a pair of the 2.0 version (probably used, to save cash).
I'm mostly happy with the sound of the Momentums I'm sending back. If anything, they might have just a tiny bit more emphasis on bass than I'd like. I will listen to these at work powered by my Geek Out 450 USB DAC/AMP. I mostly listen to jazz/fusion and classical. But I also branch out into funk and pop and other genres as well.
Any strong recommendations for against my choice?
