Depends on which Takstar headphones you mean. The Pro80s can be driven with a phone but sound better with an amp. Some like the TS-600 are fine with a phone and the TS-671 are a bit inaudible in some parts of quiet songs and dull in most others and require an amp.
Plus I'm not sure about your laptop being a good audio source so an amp/DAC combo won't hurt
Which model Takstar are you looking into?
What is the budget for your audio?
In general your laptop and iPod should be able to decently drive just about any Takstar headphone.
I would recommended to sell off the iPod and get the new FiiO X3 Gen II (X3K).
It should offer better audio quality then the Nano, is portable, but can also be used as an external DAC and headphone amplifier, with any computer (PC, Mac, desktop, laptop, etc)
Another train of thought is to just spend your whole audio budget for headphones, plug them directly into the laptop and iPod.
