Here http://newee.com/taket/, in the lower corner, the Take T-H1 headphones and the TR-1 "transformer box" in the lower corner seem like a new electrostatic or electret or completly new headphones.

it seem that the driver is wave like instead of flat and shink and expand instead of vibrating sideway.
It's all in Japanese so I don't understand altavista translation is somewhat helpfull but not much
