What is the best way to tag my music files (Most are AAC 256 / 320,and or MP3 224 VBR ?


I think that a good amount of them are broken or mislabled,Out of about 95k
MP3's and maybe 12k AAC files.

They are spread out over 2 large 500Gb WD RE2's and a few SCSI Ultra 320,15k Cheetah drives.I have them all ordered by genre into folders.I have dvd writer that I am using especially
for backups.Partial backups are done about once every two weeks with dual sided discs.I have started to store the back up discs 'off site' at my mother in laws home,on the other side of the city,but now I am getting wayyyy off topic...

But speaking of backing up digital tunes,how do other members here go about it ? TIA

Tag and Rename: http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm

You can batch edit the tags based on the filenames, you can also use amazon or freedb to edit the tags. Its quite spectacular. It will even do the album artwork for you.
