So I curently own DT990 600 ohm with a A20 amp. I'm somehow starting to like classical music etc. Would it be worth it to get either of those 2 headphones?

Both headphones are undoubtedly top notch. The question is, is it for you?

I've been using the DT880 600 Ohm for two years now and I found them to be great for overall use, in particular for classic/orchestral music. But also for many other genres. I mean what do you expect? The 880 is well known for its neutral sound characteristic amongst other things and is therefore fairly versatile.

I haven't tried the T1 though because of it's relatively high price compared to the 880 model. Looking at the impressions here there's not a HUGE difference between them, but still... there is one. Everyone has to decide for himself if it's worth it. As always, try to hear both before deciding which one to get. Unfortunately I do not have this option.

One day I may consider them buying... probably after I finished my vocatitional traning and have a higher budget. Until then, I'll stick with my precious 880s.
