Thanks guys, a bit of warmth is what I search for. I do not have anything to comment on the stock cable. And you are right to say improved is subjective, totally agreed.

I've been curious about that cable with the Sol P. Could be a great pairing. Let us know what you think.

I use the FAW Noir with the SolP. Works beautifully. Definitely has a little more warmth and body, at the cost of the last tiny bit of clarity. I alternate between that and the Lavri Grand which is slightly more neutral in comparison and I find a little more detailed and airy.

Am on the hunt for new pads as mine are getting a little worn (I've been listening to them too much!).

A google search found these among other results, very interesting: https://www.amazon.com/SOULWIT-Professional-Replacement-Solitaire-High-Density/dp/B0DQXXCKFN?th=1 Wonder how they sound, can't beat the price.

For those in the US, and if you've bought replacement pads (the regular ones, not ultra-wide), where did you get them? TIA

Update: I bought a pair from Audio Sanctuary in the UK. The only US vendor I found online was Audio 46, and they wanted $320 + tax, which would have been over $350 for me. AS charges £200 + shipping, which was around $282 out the door for me. Thought I should buy them now before the tariffs start wreaking major havoc
