I have a fantastic silver cable on my D8000 pro made by z:axis audio and if I decide to stick with the Sol P I will have it re-terminated.
If d8k is on jacks first try hd800 adapters. Im using a 3.5 Susvara cable with adapters.

Is that the stock Susvara cable, the same one that comes with HE1000se? If so how does it compare with the stock Sol P cable?

Cool. How do you like it vs stock Sol P cable?
Thanks for the info, will be late March, when I am next in the states working
I might still do the Fresh up service, need to think about it. If you do it in a few months, please report back how it went and if you were pleased with it

I honestly think that with products of this class you really should spend a few weeks evaluating it and make sure it's burned it etc. Like I wouldn't judge a brand new Susvara without giving it 100h head time and getting a decent cable for it 🤷 (otherwise I would conclude its veiled and mushy). I also won't claim Susvara doesn't have a punchy bass because I didn't hear it on AHB2 or similar class pairing (on my pairings I struggled with bass but those were midfi amps like Oor and Soloist GT).
Interesting for me. I have the full GSE Wandla/Oor/Hypsos x2 and currently have the SusvaraOG for demo. I'm considering the SolP and LCD5 too. What's your take for my chain? I've seen that the Oor is the best SS option outside of speaker amps.

I didn't particularly like Oor but I love Wandla GSE + Hypsos. It's a great stack for sure, but I would also try some different amps to get a feel for different flavours (Bursons, CFA3 etc).

Thanks. I've only just sold my V281 for the Ferrum stack so may be a while before I experiment again! Did you try the SolP and Susvara on the ferrum stack. If so, what impressed you most. I have the Utopia 22 too.

I tried Susvara on Oor, it was ok. It's sound stage is quite narrow and I generally prefer a larger, more airy sound. I owned Oor and Hypsos when it first came out and I had Holo May at that time. It could be better with Wandla GSE.

Oh. Wandla is a decent DAC but I think the V281 is a better sounding amp than the Oor.

Yes, I think generally but not for the Susvara. If the Oor doesn’t do it for the Susvara then it’ll be the Benchnark AHB2!

I've heard raving reviews about AHB2 for Susvara. That's what I would get 100% ... (said a guy who just bought Accuphase e370 when he was swearing he will try AHB2 😂😂😂😅) ...

Edit : AHB2 is still very high on my list, and Ill get it 100% if Accu doesn't do it for me.

I would recommend the Holo Bliss in that price range. It is a great match with the Sus and I like it with the Sol P as well. The base on the Sus will really fire. Larger form factor though.
