I could never listen to LCD-5 myself, so still possible that it is the better choice for you or maybe it'S even complimentary
AS the SolP is the perfect mix for me. it's hard to tell a complementary headphone.
I have even yet thought about keeping only SolP and maybe only get an additional good closed back.

honestly I haven't really compared to stock as the stock one stayed packed in the box but common sense also in the Zen Stream thread is that the IPower X PSU is like a sweet spot price-value wise for the Zen Stream.
As we re listening to muliple times more expensive chains connected behind, the stock PSU should be replaced imho yes...
Zen Stream is an awesome device for the price!
Has some quirks though with stability sometimes but it's currently running stable here after hard configuring its network settings.
Have now connected it via COAX to have an alternative to my go-to-HQPlayer NAA which is connected via USB
this! Once u get into that ultra wide pad goodness up top, it is hard to go back to the stock pads. especially if one enjoys/has enjoyed the Susvara before. that extra imaging and pinpoint placement and punchy and detailed/textured low end with the ultra wides are the icing on the cake.
I don't run my P with EQ with the wide pads though, preferring to tweak the sound using cables/interconnects. have also stopped using hqplayer for the meantime (common occurrence for me, as for some reason my ears usually prefer non upsampled anyways..).

nicely written! if I could recommend, try it with the ultra wide pads, and also include some quick links to the different sections of the review at the bottom of each page (I usually just like to skip to the sound impressions..).
I suppose many people including myself have been following the more popular TOTL headphones being hyped before.
SolP never seemed to get the popularity (and marketing efforts) of the known brands.
After 2 years some people owning or having owned the known brands are getting bored / curious and discovering such hidden gems to my feeling - some have yet jumped off though too
