Which in your oppinion mates better with a Dynahi, the DT-880 or HD650? (I guess I'm worried the DT-880 will be too bright with the Dynahi).

Everytime I've heard the DT880's with solid state amps I didn't really like them. So, my vote goes to the HD650's.

It may sound crazy, but I preferred the DT880's out of my Millet when compared to the HeadRoom Max.

You might be putting the cart before the horse. I think the most productive way to go about this is first to decide on one of the headphones, and only after that, decide on a synergistic amp.

Since the Dynahi works like a real amp should, i.e. it linearly amplifies the signal without coloration, you should probably be more worried about your source.
