From Symphonium company website:
Symphonium was conceptualized in early 2015, when our founding members were unhappy with the current offerings and state of the personal audio market.

Many earphones on the market were made to be low-cost, easy to replace and were not designed to last long. Earphones that did sound good came with an even higher price point that made it inaccessible to most consumers.

The only way to do this is to design a product from the ground up to use high quality components and tuning the exact response we require from our drivers.
We are proud to be in close collaboration with Subtonic LLP, a small Singaporean firm like us. Subtonic LLP specialises in innovative IEM design, creating new technologies to address the requirements of discerning audiophiles and musicians all around the world.

We incorporate Subtonic technologies to provide technical advantages in our earphones. The Filtered Linear Attenuation Tuning (FLAT) technology allows you to enjoy unimpeded sound with Symphonium Audio IEMs, regardless of any device you choose.

We push the limits together with Subtonic.

And with that, the Symphonium Helios was born out of the collaboration of these two team at Subtonic and Symphonium.
For the record, this product has been out for a while now but feels weird that these isn't much discussion about this here, hence this thread was made.

Spotting a 4-BA setup and their own in-house FLAT technology, it is one interesting IEM. And with the price of 1099$ especially for their first collab, the Helios shows a lot of confidence of both Symphonium and Subtonic on their craft.

More info can be found on the product page

This thread is for people who are interested in Symphonium Helios, or any product that is from Symphonium that interesting to you.

I personally have tried the Helios for a while now, a review form mine will be available soon. In the mean time, you can read review from others about this pair of IEM on Head-fi

I am surprised this IEM thread is so dead. It's one of the better IEMs on the market in my opinion. Granted, probably not very well known.

It certainly deserves more mention than it gets!

Imho the market reach of the brand isn't high.

It's kinda like the underdog right now.

This is a wonderful IEM from technical stand point and tuning as well. I could use a little more lower mids/mid-bass but its otherwise it is one of the best all-around IEMs on the market.

Exactly my thought as well. I would prefer for the 250Hz recessed area to be around 1.5-2.0 dB boosted to improve the mid-bass and lower-mids.

For that I created an EQ profile for Helios on Equalizer APO (Windows) to fix that area and to match it to my EITC-2021 target curve.

I would appreciate for those who have Helios if you could try the EQ profile:

Levelling up the mid-bass is exactly what I did as well (re: my review). Though I decided to tone down the midrange just to increase the upper midrange perception.

Am curious if anyone has heard this and the prophile 8 or the Gaudio Nair? Poking around for a cooler/brighter sounding companion for my IER-M9 (definitely not Z1R).
