Introduction

Symphonium Audio is a new audio manufacturer from Singapore. It was started by two passionate audio enthusiasts aiming to bring high-quality audio to the average consumer. They design their products from the ground up and manufacture almost every component in-house, enabling stringent quality control even over low-volume production. At present, Symphonium Audio offers two in-ear monitors but aim to provide higher-end models soon, all under $1000 USD.

From the Manufacturer -

Symphonium was conceptualized in early 2015, when our founding members were unhappy with the current offerings and state of the personal audio market. Many earphones on the market were made to be low-cost, easy to replace and were not designed to last long. Earphones that did sound good came with an even higher price point that made it inaccessible to most consumers.

Thus in 2017, we set out to create an earphone capable of providing great sound quality at an affordable price. The only way to do this is to design a product from the ground up to use high-quality parts and balanced armature technology - normally found in high-end custom earphones. After many months of R&D, we are proud to present to you our first two products, the Aurora and Mirage!

Mirage ($169)

Symphonium's entry-level offering, Mirage packs a single custom-tuned precision balanced armature receiver that can dish out the bass while enveloping you in its silky smooth midrange. Mirage also features ever present highs that are never fatiguing, suitable for long periods of listening.

Aurora ($249)

Symphonium's mid-range offering, Aurora features two custom-tuned precision balanced armature receivers; one dedicated to handle bass and one to handle midrange and treble. It provides slightly elevated bass and treble that adds the right amount of bass presence and clarity to your music. Perfect for everyday listening!

It also features a 2-way passive crossover design that ensures the balanced armature receivers only play in their ideal respective frequency spectrum. This reduces excessive distortion on each individual driver.

  • 2-Way Passive Crossover
  • Industry standard removable 2-pin connectors
  • Impedance: 75Ohms
  • Sensitivity: 109dB
  • Freq. Response: 10Hz – 19KHz

What's roughly the price of the higher end models as well as the sound signature?

Just found out about this brand and didn't even realise it was a local company after reading the comments in this thread. Only 1 store to audition it? Looking forward to trying the Mirage
