Just curious if it compares to lower end offerings of Topping, Fiio, SMSL, etc.

Two things holding me back from the NX1:  1) reported EMI issues with cell phones and 2) no bass boost switch. Thanks for the response though

Why not this? It has a bass and treble boost instead of just bass boost.
