switchcraft jack question

I have the switchcraft 3.5mm stereo jack (part number 502-35RAPC4BH3 at mouser). Looking at the schematic on that switch I was wodnering what was the ring and what is the tip? pin position 2 and 5 are the 2 I am getting confused. Any help is appreciated.

On a typical stereo plug:

tip = left
ring = right
sleeve = ground.

On a typical stereo jack (from this thread):

pin 1 = ground
pin 2 = left
pin 3 = right

Sometimes, pin numbers from one jack don't match up with those of another jack. However, if you follow the pin numbers from the above image, then you'll be okay.
