I'm doing a re-cable on my ath-es7 and need help identifying the r/l positive connection points on my switchcraft 3.5mm plug.

On the picture below I have labeled where I think they are... but the R+ is such a teeny-weeny little ring I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

the part you have labelled (-) is actually R+.
The larger leg with the integral cable clamp is actually the common (-).

Thanks so much.... I thought that ring looked a little small... this will make soldering much easier.

LOL that would be a B to solder if that really was the case..
Don't you have a multi meter to check?

I do have a multimeter, but I was at work doing this during lunch hour... and the DMM is at home.

Thanks again, fellas... I'm glad I asked and appreciate the help.

Glad you found the correct lay-out! Please do post some pics in the DIY Gallery when you're finished
