So I blew up the stock opamps inside my RSA intruder by accident. I had the gain on high, and the volume on max and plugged it the source which was also on max. One pop and it was dead. RSA said to send it in, but I thought about it for a while and ordered four AD8397ARDZ opamps from Mouser. Gonna fix it myself. RSA Intruder and Lightning are identical circuits. One just works on a lower voltage. They contain two dual opamps and two Opa1632 for the phase splitters. I believe the stock dual opamps to be something like THS3122. RSA sanded off the markings on the stock opamps.
Anyways I went to work and unsolder the burned out opamps and put in the new ones. I like the sound in the lower frequencies much better after the swap. Like it enough to just swap out the ones in the F35 lightning too.
AD8397 installed.
