I'm a new member here and I have been reading the forums around here pretty religiously for the past few days. After doing a lot of research for the past two weeks I finally settled on a set of Swans M10's for ~$120 with shipping, which are currently coming in the mail. My question is would the Audioengine A2's be a big improvement over the Swans? From the audioengine website I can get them for $180.00 free shipping with a discount code, meaning for about 60 bucks more than the M10s. I have a 30 day trial period with the Swans M10, and I'm really curious as to which would be best for my setup.
My room is a very small college dorm and I'm mostly going to be using this for music, occasional gaming, and a movie now and then. Also, it's going to be plugged into my 1.5 year old Asus laptop with integrated sound if that helps any. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
