Hi y'all,
I'm a basshead. I recently bought a used Logitech Z-5300, and I find the bass too boomy, and unable to play clear notes below 50 Hz. I need something that will sound crisp and powerful into hopefully the 30s. Obviously a proper subwoofer would be a better choice than 2.1 speakers, but I want to keep my budget low and I hear the Swans are excellent. I'm just not sure about the bass.
They're on Amazon right now for $169 third-party. What do you think? Is the Swan M50W a good choice?
