Did people who got theirs already, and ordered online, get an email notification of shipping? My parents ordered mine online for me (thanks to bank issues, I no longer have a Visa card...), so I don't know what # I have - was just wondering if we should expect a shipping notification, or if the headphones will just turn up one day.

I ordered mine online and selected the Priority Mail shipping option. I did not receive any shipping notification. The only indication I had that my order was on its way was a $209 charge to my credit card.

I ordered online 9/11 (SR225's with HF1 and Head-Fi name in comments).

- got immediate order acknowledgement
- no further notice (ie: no shipping email) till cans (#152) arrived today

I wouldn't worry ... they will show up if your folks ordered the 225's and filled in the comments properly. If worried, give Todd a call - of course that will slow down all the orders

don't count on a shipping notification. just sit back, relax, and voila - a magical USPS pizza box will show up one day.

Or, conversely, I ponder whether the SR-225 is the next Grado in line to receive a 325i-styled update.

What if the HF-1s we anticipate like scarf-waving sailor-crazed Savannah bluestockings are but stragglers in a soon-to-be-redesigned line? The sitch would be diff from that of the 325, since our former 225s have been improved considerably by Grado-sanctioned mods. Still, the possibility of a post-HF-1 upgrade might be something for FOTM addicts to keep in mind -- especially if sound's the primary concern.
