Does anyone know why the HeadRoom Supreme's cost went down to $399. I understand the old version was $449, and after all the tweaks they made to the product line, it would make sense to keep the old price ( unless of course they removed parts in the tweaking process ? ) Maybe this is a dumb question, but if sound quality goes up, and price goes down....

On the other hand, maybe they just want more sales

hippo,

I ordered a Supreme from Headroom almost two months ago. You'll notice that on the amplifier list page it is advertised for $399.

While on the details page for the Supreme it is listed for $449.

Now if you look at the yahoo store, it is said to be on sale for $399.

Knowing this I ordered a Supreme and expected to pay $399. I was charged $299 and I couldn't be happier.

You may want to call headroom (800-828-8184) to get the correct price, and maybe we should tell them about the discrepancies on their site.

OK, here is the official pricing of the Supreme... the old version is on sale for $299. There are only a few left and when they are gone that's it. The new Supreme is on sale for $399. it will be going up to at least $449 and posssibly $499. The new amp sounds awesome and in my opinion worth the extra $100 difference.
I also have a few old Cosmics for $400!
