Hello Everybody,

I posted this over on Xin's Cool Talk, but also wanted to know if any Head-Fi
members have done this to their SuperMacro's already.

* Thumbscrews:
I am interested in purchasing quality, inexpensive, thumbscrews for the
SuperMacro portable headphone enclosure (I know that Xin is selling "screws"
for the SuperMacro on his website.) Anybody know of a local B&M store or
internet shop where one can obtain these? MOST IMPORTANTLY, what are
the specifications of the screws that fit the SuperMacro?

Example:
??? Diameter: 0.47 Inches (12 mm) ???
??? Thread: 0.13 Inches (3.3 mm) ???

There are different types: anodized, LED, and theme (skull) thumbscrews.

* Battery Contacts:
Anybody know the part number (RadioShack, etc., ?) for the copper battery
contacts used in the SuperMacro? Or is it easy enough to construct the
battery contacts oneself? (The battery contacts I am talking about are the
ones that are fixed on the back cover.)

I know I can order them directly from Xin, but I am looking for an immediate
fix, supplier.

Thanks!

WOW! Great support from Xin on his website.
He posted a response here ...

The screws are 6x32, 3/8" long. You can use the style of the screws that you like. The SunBeamTech 6-32 thumbescrews seem ideal and I'll order some from them too.

I bought the battery springs from HSC. You can find the double-side tape from Walmart (Scotch Mounting Tape,2 lbs, heavy duty, 5113161858).]

Still are the specs correct for the screws for the SuperMacro enclosure:
Screw Head 12mm in diameter
Screw Thread 3.3mm in diameter
???

Thanks!
