I spent 200 hours burning in my recently arrived SM3 & HD600s. I tried feeding the SM3 via my Audigy2ZS but it sounds nowhere near as good as the same FLAC fed from my Rio Karma.
It has been my portable Karma that has finally shown up my Audigy2 for the embarassment it is... disappointing to say the least :/
I'm looking into a Headroom MicroDAC a little quicker than I had expected though because of it, so... silver lining and all that
Is it doing my Supermacro any damage to leave it turned on all the time with no music playing through it?
When I play PC games I use the SM3 & HD600s. I swap line in when I want to listen to music on the Karma. I'm worried about the constant hiss coming out of my PC. Can it damage my terribly expensive SM3?
