HiFiMAN HE series vs shure HPAEC940 , which one is better ?!!! ..the  HiFiMAN is on sale on my local shop , and the sure is quite expensive .But if it makes huge difference I would go for it ..

I have the HiFiMAN Velour Pads for my AKG K240 Studio. Cant comment on the Shure's.
The pads are rather stiff, u have to really squeeze them to break them in. But still they are of a nice material and quit comfortable. And they add a very needed distance from the driver to your ear, which enhances soundstage and the overall tone quite a bit.
