Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks SACD (what I'm listening to right now)
Jan Garbarek - rarum (ECM)
Jeff Buckley - Grace (Legacy Edition)
Badly Drawn Boy - Hour of the Bewilderbeast
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones - Flight of the Cosmic Hippo
Thievery Corporation - Mirror Conspiracy
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

Jazz Remasters

Check out the RVG edition remasters available from Blue Note. You really can't go wrong with these. They contain stunning performances by master musicians and the recordings are just gorgeous. Rudy Van Gelder is a genius. Columbia Legacy has also released some excellent remasters.

If you don't know where to start try some of these:

Miles Davis - Sketches of Spain, Porgy & Bess, The Sorceror
Stan Getz - Getz/Gilberto
Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Uhm
Dave Brubek - Time Out, Time Further Out
Art Blakey - Moanin'
Hank Mobely - Soul Station / Roll Call
Wayne Shorter - Speak No Evil
Herbie Hancock - Thrust

You may also want to check out Mapleshade Records. It's an audiophile label ran by Pierre Sprey. He employs the same audiphile techniques to music production that we do to music playback. There is a great article on his techniques available here. Although I haven't listened to there CD's I have downloaded all of the MP3 samples, to help me choose (which is difficult beleive me) , and they sound fantastic.

Hope this helps
