Super.fi 5 Pro replacement received--thoughts (good and bad)

Yinyang, I wonder why they were shipped with theh mismatched cable.....
As I said before my 2.0 cable is black.

Unfortunately I can not see the new metallic finish well.....however, does it mean that now we will have to deal with scratched housings??

"You received the upgraded version 5Pro - Clear cable, new metallic case and no leather case.

The winder in the metallic case was causing problems and issues with the
ear buds.

You can purchase a black cable with me for $20.00 if you would like.
They are not yet available to purchase on our website"


that was the email i got back from UE - not sure why mine are clear and yours are black, but i'm not bothered by it....yet

I'll be sure to talk to a CS rep if I receive clear cables on black earpieces once my RMA is complete. And that email... giving you an option to shell out and additional $20 for a black cable that they should have shipped with your replacements... that's ridiculous!

I was just fishing around for 5 pro topics because my second pair has started to have major cracks all around. So 'wowed' by the cherry metallic color. I think I'll get those when I RMA my pair. All in good time...
