Only I have had my super fi 5 pro for 3 months now, and the cable is going green, like when copper oxidises and goes green. I can't understand why as the have the plastic covering it and there are no rips or anything in the plastic.

There is no change in quality of the sound, I'm just wondering should I worry? Or should I buy a new cable?

Cheers

Oh and its only the top of the cable going green near the monitors, about 3 inchs long.

It's a common occurrence - a pitfall w/ clear cables. Luckily mine is still green-free. The cable doesn't need to be ripped or holed, there will be minute spaces for skin oils etc to enter. But AFAIK it's purely cosmetic. If the sub-aqua looks bother you, just get a new cable. In black & you'll never see green again...
